Is there a guarantee that the Tap Extractor will work?

No, there is no guarantee that they will work. There are no extractors that will work every time, in every application. Ours should be your first attempt to save the tap.

Is there a warranty on Walton Tap Extractors?

Walton does not offer a warranty – but if the collar, holder, or sleeve bends or breaks, we ask that you call us and send the tool back for inspection. We may replace it at no charge. If the fingers become bent or broken, you can purchase replacements wherever you purchased your Tap Extractors. Visit our Where to Buy page for information on our international network of authorized distributors.

Are replacement Tap Extractor fingers interchangeable?

No – each Tap Extractor has its own unique replacement finger.

Do Tap Extractors work with metric taps?

All of our Tap Extractors are stamped with the fractional and the metric size. They will work for both. For example, a 1/4″ tap and 6mm tap will use the same extractor.
